Deviens ton propre BEAUTY GURU !

I am hereby introducing a proper creaming routine that I have worked out for myself and my clients within my 8 years of Beauty Coach career. Always move from LIQUID tonics and serums to more SOLID oils and balms. Furthermore, follow your own INTUITION and ask yourself: How would my face like to be layered today? This delicate act of Self Love is always so personal. 🥰

  1. CLEANSING. Always start by thoroughly cleansing your skin. A perfect cleanser is gentle and at the same time very effective. To be on the safe side and if you can choose only ONE product for this phase, then just go for a cream cleanser. Of course, in hot climates, like for me in Dubai, or if you use massive sunscreen protection, it is nice to have a 2-in-1 cleansing routine, starting by an oil and using this recommended cream cleanser for the 2nd phase.
  2. TONER, prefer a herbal moisturising spray so that you do not have to rub the skin with a separate cotton pad. A floral hydrolat is also nice, just vary different botanicals, using lavender or chamomile for calming, persil for acne (just keep in mind that it can be photosensitive) and blackcurrent for a big load of vitamine C.
  3. EMULSION or ESSENCE, this could be a serum in a liquid format, also amazing for the summer period and living in hot climates.
  4. ANOTHER SERUM. You can also layer several serums on top of each other, depending on your mood and the current needs of your skin. If you do so, always go from more liquid consistency to thicker ones.
  5. CREAM, could be a water based cream for a warmer season as well as a nourishing one for the night use or winter days.
  6. OIL and / or BALM. This layer can also be applied before the cream so that the face does not shine after! At night, it makes the pillowcase oily. As a hack, I love to put a few thin paper napkins on my pillow while night masking.

TAKE INTO ACCOUNT:

  • The sensitive eye area requires specific products, composed of small molecules that are able to penetrate into its fine skin. Some high-quality face creams with a thin structure are also suitable for both zones – the face and the eye area.
  • I recommend to apply regularly moisturising and nourishing masks. For dry skin, you can apply a mask EVERY DAY, therefore here is my recommendation: initially, you can start masking on every other day, if you have only one mask at your disposal, then play around, change the routines and add other masks.
  • The BODY should be taken care of according to the same rules as the face. My personal favourites include nourishing thick creams and balms. You can also do multilayered care.
  • If your skin is DRY, you have already visible small wrinkles or other signs of aging, the skin DEFINITELY needs more very good nourishment and hydration! It has become obvious and visible.
  • BALMS are very universal, especially during the winter season or at a ski trip. If you go for a long walk outside, you can apply balms to the whole family including your kids. Pay attention to the cheek area, mid-face, the fine skin around the mouth and on the lips. My special tip is to put some under the eyes and I do it as well before a presentation or a Zoom call.
  • The balms, butters, ointments create a GLOWY, slightly shiny look, which is currently in fashion in this era of BEING NATURALLY BEAUTIFUL.
